Judge Judy

One of my absolute favorite shows is Judge Judy.
She is direct and to the point, calls a camel a camel.
I thought it might be interesting to dig up some
facts on Judge Judy and Petri Hawkins Byrd,
the bailiff on the show.

Judge Judy made its debut in 1996.

Judy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren,
snorkeling, ice skating, and Ebargain Shopping on the internet.

Judy was not happy with the first title of Judge Judy, which was
'Hot Bench'. She argued for a different title and won.

Judy received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February, 2006.

Judy and husband Jerry performed the marriage
ceremonies of all four of their married children.

Judy's husband Jerry is also a judge.

Byrd is a native of Brooklyn, New York.
